BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
IN ICE AGE FLOODS INSTITUTE, CHENEY-SPOKANE CHAPTER

The Ice Age Floods Institute, Cheney-Spokane Chapter, is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization committed to the recognition and presentation
of the Ice Age Floods as a significant part of the nation's, and the world's natural heritage.
The national Institute was incorporated in 1995 and the Cheney-Spokane Chapter was established in 2004. Among its members there are many
amateur and professional geologists, as well as members with interests or careers in other natural sciences and fields such as agriculture,
anthropology, biology, community development, education, government, outdoor recreation, photography, to name a few.
We sponsor field trips and lectures; facilitate the exchange of information among interested individuals, organizations and agencies; and
work to expand the range of interpretive resources and materials available to the public.

All IAFI, Cheney-Spokane members receive the following benefits:
- Receipt of notices of field trips, chapter meetings, special events.
- IAFI bulletins and The Pleistocene Post newsletter
- Discounted fees and priority registration for field trips and other IAFI events.
- Opportunities to network and share information with other IAFI members
- Opportunities to join in the Institute's work with organizations, agencies, and policy makers to
improve interpretive resources available to the public

HOW TO JOIN
|
The Ice Age Floods Institute, Cheney-Spokane Chapter (IAFICS) welcomes your support and participation and offers a number of member benefits (listed above). Membership dues are collected annually on a calendar-year basis. When you become a member of IAFICS, you will also become a member of the national Ice Age Floods Institute (IAFI) and receive all its benefits. Annual dues are split between IAFICS and IAFI.
